Black & White Bonfire Night

Another year has flown past yet again, 2016 is almost over and as the days get shorter and night get
colder, before you even know halloween and bonfire night are upon us. Guy Fawkes night (or bonfire night as we know it now) is a British celebration where the skies are filled with bright fireworks and people go to colourful displays and bonfires. Originating from 1605 when Guy Fawkes, a member of the gunpowder plot, was arrested while guarding explosives beneath the house of lords. Since then it has become a family friendly day in which fireworks are lit and bonfires burnt.

Using my trusty Samsung smart camera i took these awesome pictures with the help of the convenient 'firework' smart mode.
Enjoy!

Mens Autumn/Winter 16 fashion essentials

(Picture Via DailyMail)
The Bomber Jacket
The bomber jacket has been a large trend both in summer and spring, with designer and high street stores releasing them in a number of prints, colours and styles, it is extremely versatile. Wether casual or smart, oversized or tailored, the jacket never fails to deliver . With autumn and winter almost here the bomber jacket is still going strong. Instead of crazy prints and light fabrics this season a fur collar and padding throughout revives the jacket and makes it perfect for the colder days. For a more waterproof finish, why not try a leather bomber jacket.

The Chelsea Boot
What started as a riding boot made for queen Victoria in 1883, has become one of fashions most alluring and resilient footwear trends for both men and women. today these boots are the perfect shoes for autumn and winter due to their sturdy shape and comfy heel. The boots can be found in a range of different materials such as leather and suede.
The Trench Coat
The trench coat is a stylish option for wet weather dressing. Originating from the 19th century originally as a military style the trench coat has come a long way in the fashion world. With the incredible designs by Thomas burberry the trench coat has become an iconic staple for smart (or even casual) day to day outerwear.
The Graphic Knit
Wether delicate or lightweight, large and bulky, jumper and cardigans are a key staple for the autumn and winter. With designers bringing out an array of prints and materials, the options are endless in finding you the perfect knit. For a more casual look why not try a large slouchy cable knit and for smarter occasions a muscle fit would be more appropriate. From zigzag to statement block stripes, graphic knitwear is one to follow this season.

Ralph & Russo Boutique Harrods

On a recent trip to London i had the chance to visit one of the most luxurious department stores there, Harrods. I went straight to the Super Brands department and walked across the luxurious white marble hallways to my favourite British haute couture brand, Ralph & Russo which was founded in 2007 by duo Tamara Ralph (creative director) and Michael Russo (CEO)

The store is a heaven of beige, white and cream. chairs and sofas are placed around for you to sit and try on the most incredible shoes.

The store hosts an impressive display an elegant selection of couture pieces (such as gowns, jackets, skirts), shoes and accessories. Clients are invited to walk around and experience the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each and every creation. items such as shoes and bags are handcrafted in Italy and available for immediate purchase.

Here are a few pictures from the store,
enjoy X

mens luxury watch gift guide

Struggling to find a gift for a watch fanatic? Whether it be a boyfriend or husband, here are a few of my picks of watches ranging from £500 to £30,000 using the Selfridges Wonder Room.

£500-£1,000

This watch retails for £525 and is a great pick for a stylish and sophisticated guy. The blue face gives the watch a cool look while keeping it classy with the traditional stainless steel straps.

'This gucci watch has been crafted from stainless steel for a sleek finish. adorned with a striking blue dial and solid three link bracelet strap'

This watch retails for £950. It's slightly more chunky and bolder and the dark face makes it perfect with any outfit.

'The Formula 1 polished stainless steel watch features quartz movement and exceptional durability due to the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, this timepiece is complete with an impressive 200-metre water resistance'

 £1,000-£5,500

This watch retails for £5,100. Even though this watch is above £5000 I thought I had to include it since it was a classic timepiece. The square shape gives it a refined look and is different to the usual round watch face.

The watch features a steel case, nine sided crown set sapphire crystal, finiliquè dial and blue sword hands.
The watch is available in SMALL (£3900) LARGE (£5,100) X-LARGE (£5,700)

'Floating like a balloon and as blue as the sapphire safely nestled in its side, the Balloon Bleu stainless steel is guaranteed to add a dash of elegance'
£10,000+

'Add a dose of luxury to everyday looks with this £16,100 watch. Boasting precise mechanical manufacture high-frequency chronograph (5Hz) with automatic winding, this timepiece has an impressive 50 hour power reserve. Decorated with perlage, côtes de Genève and chamfering finishing, the watch is built with a transparent case back and luminescent applies indexes.'

'This £26,370 watch is inspired by the beauty of classic cars. Featuring luminescent arabic numerals and hands. Complete with an 18 carat rose gold strap, this time piece is the perfect balance of automobile design and mechanical watchmaking'

All watches shown are from Selfridges and available to purchase.

Mens Spring Fashion 2017 Trends

The Holdall
Yet again the holdall is back on the runways for another season, proving it is still stylish and sophisticated. Designers have used iconic bags such as the Birkin and created it into a larger masculine version. The holdall is perfect for taking to the gym, a weekend away or even for work. The famous Louis Vuitton Keepall has been inspiration for many bags, and this season they have released some new mens bags which have a peculiar resemblance to the hermes Birkin.

LOUIS VUITTON                                               HERMES
 VALENTINO                                                                       FENDI
 Camouflage
camouflage is a print that is now firmly entrenched with many mens wardrobes and seen often on the runway. Bottega Veneta kept things traditional with utilising khaki with sweaters, whereas italian luxury label Valentino gave this timeless military motif a sophisticated- look using it as the upper part of a coat.

Stripe
This season sees luxury designers putting all new slants on stripes. from vivid block stripes knits to wide striped tailoring, this timeless motif has been re-imagined for the coming months.
